Hi Thorsten

Been thinking much the same as we are rapidly approaching EOL on 4.9

I've been logging the IRC channel given the central IRC logger has been
stalled & can see

Ghislain asked this a couple of days ago and Herbert responded:

     irclogs/#vserver.2022-11-04.log:01:04
     < Bertl_oO> hey Ghislain,
I'm currently looking into the 6.x branch, as it seems that 5.x might find
an untimely end as well, but nothing to test yet unfortunately

Gislain also reported he'd successfully tested patches against 4.9.331

So we still have a couple of months before we need a Plan B

regards
Adrian
