Hi !

I solved my kernel installation problem and recompiled a new one for
security on the host machine and everything is working I will be able to
migrate the machine to the new host.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,
Hello Sam,

I use the same util-vserver version "0.30.216-pre3120-1.4" the
same distrib Debian 9.13 and the same custom vserver kernel,
but now I have an other problem, I had changed kernel to test
something and when I wanted to reload my vserver kernel it
doesn't want to install anymore I get this error:
-----------------
Hmm. There is a symbolic link /lib/modules/4.9.159-vs2.3.9.8-perso-v3/build
However, I can not read it: No such file or directory
 Therefore, I am deleting /lib/modules/4.9.159-vs2.3.9.8-perso-v3/build
Hmm. The package shipped with a symbolic link
/lib/modules/4.9.159-vs2.3.9.8-perso-v3/source
However, I can not read the target: No such file or directory
 Therefore, I am deleting /lib/modules/4.9.159-vs2.3.9.8-perso-v3/source
That doesn't sound like the normal Unix/Linux error
messages I'd expect to see ...

You sure your server has not been taken over by some
hostile AI?

-----------------
I am going crazy
Double check the symlink, where it points to, what
permissions it has and what state the filesystem is
in.

Best,
Herbert

starting the guest I have this error message:

I have the same guest running on another machine with the same
Debian version and the same kernel, but I have to migrate it to
another machine ...
Do you also use the same util-vserver and the same
guest configuration or is there a difference?
Also could you upload the entire startup with
--debug so that we can see what is going on?
Thanks,
Herbert
Help.
Thanks in advance.
