Yeah it has indeed been deprecated and one should now use 'ip'.  Will have
a look, perhaps at weekend, if can strip out vconfig and replace with ip.

It is part of base packages at CentOS 5.x - so either it was replaced or deprecated at CentOS 7 if not present anymore. Try a "yum provides" check, if replaced it should be found.
