Just for clarification, here is what I said:

  Nevertheless, I consider recent 3.x patches at least 
                                              ~~~~~~~~
  as stable as the mainline kernels.
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Note that cgroups are a mainline feature.
Also note that I complained about mainline kernels
blurring the line between experimental and stable.
