hi,
Squeeze quota tools are now using /proc/mounts instead of /etc/mtab
for their quota work. Therefor it fails now as /proc/mounts is empty. I
wanted to know if there is a secure way to make this work again.
Some solution a firend told me :
- let /proc/mounts leak from the host ( securtity risk ?) by removing
the flag:
28 0x01000000 HIDE MOUNT Hide entries in
/proc/$pid/mounts
- use in the mtab the real partition name in
/etc/vserver/guest/apps/init/mtab instead of hdvX
- use vrsetup on the real name instead of hdvX so it create the
/dev/realname instead of /dev/hdvX in the guest
Do you have any better solution , do it sound right for you ?
ps: i use an old kernel: 2.6.36-vs2.3.0.36.36aq, just waiting to
replace with 3.0 soon. Perhaps this si allready solved in the new versions ?
