Hi all, i have a strange issue with upstart in lv. Following situation: I followed the guide at: http://www.linux-vserver.org/Upstart_issues After that the guest starts just right with all services. If i'm going to stop the guest, all processes are terminating, but not init and sshd: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 13663 43 test ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/sshd 13501 43 test ? Ss 0:00 /sbin/init 13501 43 test ? Ss 0:00 /sbin/init ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Also i cannot stop ssh from inside the guest with "stop ssh", "stop mysql" for example is just working as expected. Does anyone habe a working Ubuntu configuration and may share the config files for upstart and the guest? # vserver-info Versions: Kernel: 2.6.33.2-vs2.3.0.36.30.4 VS-API: 0x00020305 util-vserver: 0.30.216-pre2883; Apr 4 2010, 19:57:41 Features: CC: gcc, gcc (Debian 4.3.2-1.1) 4.3.2 CXX: g++, g++ (Debian 4.3.2-1.1) 4.3.2 CPPFLAGS: '' CFLAGS: '-Wall -g -O2 -std=c99 -Wall -pedantic -W -funit-at-a-time' CXXFLAGS: '-g -O2 -ansi -Wall -pedantic -W -fmessage-length=0 -funit-at-a-time' build/host: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu Use dietlibc: yes Build C++ programs: yes Build C99 programs: yes Available APIs: v13,net,v21,v22,v23,netv2 ext2fs Source: e2fsprogs syscall(2) invocation: alternative vserver(2) syscall#: 236/glibc crypto api: beecrypt python bindings: no use library versioning: yes Paths: prefix: /usr sysconf-Directory: /etc cfg-Directory: /etc/vservers initrd-Directory: $(sysconfdir)/init.d pkgstate-Directory: /var/run/vservers vserver-Rootdir: /var/lib/vservers Best regards
