I don't know the status, though I've not heard that its changed from  
"deprecated". Its presence in Sid though is not relevant to  
Linux-Vserver's deprecation, it needs to be there so that packages can  
get to Squeeze, Sid is always the place were things enter the main  
Debian repositories.
