So, to compile an nvdia module, install the kernel in question, along with the appropriate source and headers packages. For example: http://kernels.bristolwireless.net/linux-image-2.6.29.2-vs2.3.0.36.12-beng_0.1_i386.deb http://kernels.bristolwireless.net/linux-source-2.6.29.2-vs2.3.0.36.12-beng_0.1_all.deb http://kernels.bristolwireless.net/linux-headers-2.6.29.2-vs2.3.0.36.12-beng_0.1_i386.deb would be the choice on an 32-bit setup. Then install module-assistant and run as root: module-assistant a-i nvidia to compile the nvidia module. Let me know how you get on. cheers == From Ben Green
