Well you raise a good point here - actually it is on the wiki, but it's
just as hard to find as it's easier to read the man pages or whatever.
It's still a very long command line for a fairly simple and common job
though! (Imagine you had to change password with "passwd bob -o oldpass
-n newpass -t now -h localhost -perm escalate_root -auth shadow")

So really your jibe is a good one, but what we all seem to be agreeing
already that the only bit which is really missing is the front of the
site which helps users find the content and focuses more on the "how to
do X" type scenarios.

Also if I was funding the project I would suggest development of some
slightly higher level tools which wrapped the (excellent) low level
tools and perhaps a curses menu driven frontend.

(Aside: there are already some excellent higher level utilities starting
to be implemented, for example the very useful vemerge type utilities
for gentoo users and I think I say a vyum utility mentioned? This kind
of thing is really VERY handy and one of the things which makes vserver
really slick for my needs!)

So yes, there ARE some good user docs around - lets try and pull them
together into a "manual" and I think we are a good step forward
