debian oddity? in any case, it doesn't seem
to be host related, because here on mandriva
the host shows:

  cdrom:x:22:
  utmp:x:24:

and the guest uses:

  voice:x:22:

-rw-rw-r-- 1 root voice 384 Feb  5 16:54 /var/run/utmp

so, no reason for using voice here, at least
no connection with the host's groups

bug seems to be filed here, maybe the debian
folks know more ...
