Subject: redirect tty1 boot messages to a file

Hi,
I'm running suse 10.2 as guest, etch as host. I'd like to send all messages
diplayed on tty1 while # vserver suse102 start is executed to a file
on guest.

Is that possible? (I know about messages in /var/log/messages! dmesg is empty)

BTW: on another vserver system I observed:
  haupt1:/etc/vservers/pserver/apps/init# ls -l
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6 2008-05-16 02:42 style
  lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 2008-05-18 13:38 tty -> /dev/tty6
What effect has the link to tty6? - There are no messages
on tty6, I proved it with  # setterm -dump 6; cat screen.dump

thx a lot
Ekkard
