Hi. I've been using Linux vserver on Gentoo at another job since around
2004. At my new job, they are strictly a Red Hat shop, so I've been forced
to deal with licensing crap amongst other things. I was able to use CentOS
with a vserver kernel I found to show them how well vserver works. My
problem now is, they won't use CentOS and require the system to be Red Hat.
I've searched and searched, but I haven't found a Red Hat vserver kernel
package.
Since RH5 still uses a heavily patched 2.6.18 kernel, is it possible to use
the latest vserver patches with this kernel? If so, does anyone have a
repository or rpm for it?
Thanks
