the maintainer has updated those files... in unstable/"sid", which
eventually migrated to testing/"lenny".  stephen is running stable/"etch"
which was officially released with, and will only officially ever have,
0.30.212.  if he wants a newer, but unofficial, version he can install
0.30.215 from backports.org. [1]  but that still won't give him a "f9"
directory; for that he needs 0.30.216 from testing or unstable, which might
not install on stable.

could he install the backported 0.30.215 and copy the f9 directory from
the upstream util-vserver?

btw, let me take this opportunity to thank micah for maintaining the
util-vserver debian package (and ola before him).
