With recent utils, you can do:
vmount <guest> -- -t ext3 /dev/vg01/space /space
> vnamespace -e <running_guest1> mount -t ext3 --rbind /dev/vg01/space

No, that'd be:
vnamespace -e <running_guest1> mount -n -t ext3 /dev/vg01/space
/vservers/<running_guest1>/space
--rbind is for mounting a tree elsewhere.
