hi all,
have a question, i'm trying to set up some quota support from within the
guest that is placed on LVM on DRBD.
i followed the guide here
http://wiki.linux-vserver.org/Standard_non-shared_quota
basically the steps i took are as follows
drbdadm primary r0
vgchange -a y
e2fsck -p /dev/drbdvgo/web
mount -o usrquota,grpquota /dev/drbdvg0/web /VSERVERS/web/
vrsetup /dev/vroot0 /dev/drbdvg/web
cp -fa /dev/vroot/web /VSERVERS/web/dev/hdv1
nano /etc/vservers/web/apps/init/mtab
/dev/hdv1 / ufs rw,usrquota,grpquota 0 0
nano /etc/vservers/web/ccapabilities
quota_ctl
and that seems to enable it, at least when doing a quotacheck quotaon
andd quotastatus from within the guest.
but....the thing i need quota support for is virtualmin running in the
guest and apparently that needs to have a separate /home partition to
apply the quota's to if i understood it correctly..
this is my first trying to apply quota's at all and never did any
partitioning in a guest either...so not really sure what the obvious
path to follow would be.
set up an extra /dev/vroot on the same LVM
or
make a separate LVM partition for /home
or
probably the obvious that i did not think about
hoping some one could give me option number 3 here ;) but some general
advise would do me good ass well at this point.
