Double-checking my kernel config, I see that PID and net namespace 
supports were not compiled in. I think those should be enabled too, 
shouldn't it?

I'll try the util-vserver prerelease. Or do you suggest to use the 
stable branch instead? ;-) Except this issue, the experimental branch 
seems to work fine, but it has to be run as a service after the test 
period.
