Hi List,

I been trying to read up on the hashify with COW feature of vserver.
Still some questions...:

- What are the actual requirements for using this feature?
- Any particular file systems only?
- Presumably, all hashifed files must reside on the same partition?
- What if the process of hashifying is interrupted? Will filesystems
still be left in good working order?
- Can the hashify process be run on running vservers, or should they be
stopped before starting the hashify process?

lxc seem to prescribe btrfs as the lxc "equivalent"
(http://www.digipedia.pl/usenet/thread/18777/2045/ ). How does this
compare to vserver's hashify? (Some answer given in that discussion, but
still a couple of open ones...)

- Can btrfs be used with vserver?
- What about trebuchet (http://wiki.baserock.org/Trebucket ): Any
qualified guesses whether it will be compatible for updating a vserver
guest? (USE-CASE: Update a guest as an atomic operation; keep fallback
vserver guest ready in case update process incomplete, or in case new
vserver guest do not perform correctly.)

Any input enormously appreciated! :-)
